Hair loss makes many people feel extremely self-conscious. However, given the amount of people with this issue according to hair loss statistics in the US alone, it shouldn’t be something to be embarrassed about.hair-loss-statistics

In fact, the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery did a study on hair loss in the US and found that nearly 56 million US citizens suffer from hair loss. That’s about 16 percent of the population, which is a large amount to be affected by any issue. For comparison, diabetes, a widely recognized issue in our country, affects only 9.5 percent of the population according to statistics provided by the CDC.
